Smooth Peanut Butter Biscuits

Hey everyone!! Today I thought I would experiment using peanut butter again after making the successful peanut butter jammie dodgers you’ll find that recipe here http://

I actually love peanut butter both smooth and crunchy so I’ll probably be making more peanut butter inspired food 🙂

Okay so the ingredients are:

180g plain flour                                          50g castor sugar
4 tbsp peanut butter
1 egg
100g butter

And the method is:

1. Set the oven to gas mark 4 and line two baking trays with parchment paper.

2. Place the flour, sugar, peanut butter, egg and butter into a large bowl then mix together until a soft dough is formed.


3. Flour the work surface and rolling pin slightly then roll out the dough to about the thickness of two £1 coins, the using any mini cutter of your choice press into the dough and put on the baking tray. (this recipe does make quite a lot so you may need to re use a tray after the first batch is baked)

4. Gently press the back of a fork into each biscuit and bake in the oven for 20 minutes (maybe a little less as i forgot to preheat mine)
once baked leave to cool on a wire and dust with icing sugar before serving.
