It’s early in the UK this morning so I’ll wish you all a wonderful day!
I’ve been off WordPress for the last week, for no particular reason but as I’ve not long finished my breakfast I thought I’d write a quick post. Firstly, it’s a Bank Holiday so I have the day off work and I’m so grateful. It’s so nice to wake up in the morning at a slow pace and really be present and enjoy the moments rather than rushing to leave out on time. This morning, the weather is already bright and we have nice, sunny warm weather for a change, it’s supposed to reach 23 degree’s today which is good for this time of the year.
So far I’ve done my usual morning routine and I just need to make time to read my current book. Yesterday, I went for a light jog in the morning and it was so lovely. I don’t always make time to do fitness outside of the house but afterwards I felt amazing and it’s always good to spend time in nature and see the ducks in the water. Today I did Pilates, which is always very challenging but I love pushing myself and trying new things, also I always feel really strong the next day even with achy muscles. I might bake some peanut butter flapjacks but apart from that I’m going to be chilling and maybe a little online shopping if there’s any good offers.
Anyway, as it’s the first day of the week, it’s a great day to set the tone for the rest of the week. Any goals you would like to achieve or things you wish to work on? Start today and hopefully you’ll follow it through.
