Quick Side Salad

Hello Everyone, I hope your day has been well.

Today I’m sharing a quick side salad recipe that I make often and always enjoy. Over the past few years, salad is something I have been eating more and more of and I always look forward to the range of vibrant colours and tastes. The salad I make is always simple and easy to prepare with the ingredients in their most natural state. You’ll have noticed that I don’t consume salad dressings, but that is optional for you, I simply prefer to go without it.

All you have to do is pick your favourite salads from the fridge, wash them and chop/slice to your preference. Eating a salad is a great way to ensure you eat some of your 5 a day and it really brightens up any dish. Spring onion which is often served as a garnish is actually quite nutritious and contains good sources of vitamin K which is linked to heart health and bone development.
