Hello Everyone, I hope your day has been well and you’ve been keeping warm in this cold weather. Only 5 days left until Christmas can you believe it? I haven’t really cooked a lot of Christmas themed foods so I’ll quickly share my thoughts instead.
This Christmas I’m looking forward to some tasty food (which I’m sure I’ll be sharing), seeing family and watching lots of movies. To be honest with you, this year I’m not as excited for Christmas as I have always been in the past but it’s still such a fun and festive time to relax, eat chocolate and be merry.
The main thing to remember during this festive season is that it isn’t just about the presents and gifts but giving back and spending quality time with family and friends. Giving back can be done through donations no matter how little, charity or volunteering your time, it can be something relatively small which another person would be so grateful for. Make sure you are present with your family and friends, ask questions and check in with your loved ones.
Regardless of the situation at first it may seem like the worst thing ever and that there’s nothing you can do to fix or change the situation but just remember….there’s always light at the end of the tunnel 🙂
It doesn’t really matter specifically what has happened in your life as long as you stay hopeful, acknowledging and accepting what has happened will enable you to move on. This is the first stage of you becoming stronger within.
Here are some tips to help deal with failure:
1. Write down your feelings, thoughts and emotions.
2. Talk through the problems with someone.
3. Organise a plan to make things better.
4. Pray! Even if you are not religious you may have/feel a spiritual connection with the universe which will help ease the pain of your problems.
I really hope this helps if anyone is going through anything they wish they weren’t, life will always be full of obstacles and it’s how you decide to deal with them that determines your future
